Restylane® Defyne

Smooth Away Deep Wrinkles With Restylane® Defyne

Asset 1

Restylane® Defyne is a popular dermal filler that has gained recognition for its remarkable ability to reduce the appearance of deep wrinkles and restore natural facial contours. Restylane® Defyne is specifically designed to treat deep laugh lines or nasolabial folds and marionette lines, which are the lines that extend from the corners of the mouth to the chin. By targeting these areas, Restylane® Defyne can effectively soften the appearance of wrinkles, providing a more youthful and rejuvenated look.

How Does Restylane® Defyne Work?

Before your treatment at Twin Ports Dermatology, one of our injection specialists will assess your facial structure and discuss your desired outcomes. They will then cleanse the treatment area and apply a topical anesthetic or use a numbing agent to ensure a comfortable experience. They will carefully inject the Restylane® Defyne gel into the targeted areas. They will then massage the filler to ensure even distribution and optimal results.

Am I a Good Candidate for Restylane® Defyne?

Restylane® Defyne has been clinically tested and proven to be safe and effective for people with deep laugh lines or nasolabial folds and marionette lines. It is important to note that Restylane® Defyne should only be administered by a qualified and experienced healthcare professional. Choosing a reputable provider ensures that the treatment is performed safely and effectively, with attention to detail and a comprehensive understanding of facial anatomy.

How Long Does a Typical Restylane® Treatment Take?

The treatment process for Restylane® Defyne is straightforward and typically takes about a half hour. However, the exact duration may vary depending on various factors, including the specific areas being treated, the amount of product being injected, and the individual’s unique circumstances.

What Results Will I See With Restylane® Defyne?

One of the major advantages of Restylane® Defyne is its long-lasting effects. The results of the treatment can be seen immediately, and they typically last for up to 12 months. This durability makes Restylane® Defyne an excellent choice for individuals who are seeking a long-term solution for their deep wrinkles. Over time, the filler gradually breaks down and is safely absorbed by the body, allowing for natural changes and adjustments if desired.

Is There Any Downtime With Restylane® Defyne?

After your filler injections, you can return to most daily activities such as work. You will be given specific instructions from your injector regarding what to avoid, such as strenuous exercise, excessive heat, and airplane travel. A few days after treatment, bruising, swelling, and minor discomfort are expected. Your injector will walk you through what to anticipate with your specific treatment.

  • Avoid dental work or vaccinations two weeks before & after.
  • Avoid taking aspirin, vitamin E, garlic, alcohol, Ginko Biloba, fish oil, or any blood thinners for five days before treatment, as these can increase the risk of bruising.
  • You may have small pink spots after the injections that can last several hours.
  • There is a slight chance of bruising.
  • Most people will return to work immediately following the treatment.
  • Wait four weeks after injections for any Med Spa service on the face.
