Rosacea
Do you feel frustrated by the appearance of flushed skin and red bumps that come hand-in-hand with rosacea flare-ups?
Rosacea may be a common skin condition, but that’s not always comforting to the people who have to deal with its symptoms. The hallmarks of rosacea – which include flushed skin and red bumps that can resemble small pimples – can be a source of frustration for many individuals, as they’re difficult to treat with over-the-counter solutions alone.
Rosacea is an inflammatory condition that can be exacerbated by stress, excessive temperatures, foods, and certain skincare ingredients. There’s no known cure, but the symptoms can be managed with the right skincare regimen.
If you have rosacea symptoms and are looking to gain control over your skin again, we can help you at Twin Ports Dermatology. We offer diagnosis and treatment for those patients who want help managing their rosacea symptoms.
What Treatment Options Are Available for Rosacea?
Our menu of treatment options for rosacea include:

How Long Does a Typical Treatment Take?
Treatment length can vary, as some can be done right at home, while others are performed in our dermatological practice. For example, if you opt for SRA treatments to manage your rosacea symptoms, these treatments take about 45 minutes to perform.

Most of our rosacea solutions don’t require any downtime; however, SRA treatments may leave you red and inflamed for 2-5 days after.
We do recommend consistently wearing sunscreen and avoiding certain skincare ingredients to prevent exacerbation of your symptoms.
