Diana is one of our Registered Nurses and Injection Specialists at Twin Ports Dermatology. She has been an RN for about fifteen years, receiving her degree from WITC. Diana has her master’s degree in Nursing Education and graduated from Western Governors University. She has experience in family practice, oncology, and hospice. She was also a nursing instructor for the nursing program! Diana has always had an interest in skin, self-care, and injections. When she was a nurse instructor, Diana reached out to Twin Ports Dermatology for educational recommendations. At the time, Twin Ports Dermatology was looking for another injector. The timing was perfect, and Diana got the job as an Injection Specialist! She recently celebrated one year of working with Twin Ports Dermatology.
Diana is married and has four children; she loves spending time watching all her children’s sporting events! The whole family loves watching all sporting events and spending time outside. Diana is also a runner; she has completed many half-marathons. This year she is running the Grandma’s Full Marathon for the first time. Woohoo!

Diana describes how having children at home while finishing her master’s degree was challenging at times but well worth it! She also talked about how COVID was a challenge. Trying to navigate everyone’s comfort level during COVID was something she felt strongly about. She wanted to respect everyone’s feelings, beliefs, and fears that they may have had throughout the pandemic.
Making sure people feel heard and understood is the most rewarding part of Diana’s job. She loves when her patients feel happy and good about themselves after their treatments. Boosting her patients’ self-confidence is truly a rewarding experience.
