What Is eLos Plus Skin Rejuvenation?
The eLos Plus Skin Rejuvenation system is an energy based device that uses optical radiofrequency and infrared energy to treat skin problems including acne scars, brown spots, fine lines, wrinkles, broken capillaries and minor skin laxity. The combination of these two types of energy allows for better total energy delivery into the skin.
How Does elos Plus Skin Rejuvenation Work?
Many of the most popular skin rejuvenation treatments work by penetrating the outer layer of the skin and stimulating the lower levels as well. eLos Plus does this with both intense pulsed light (IPL) and radiofrequency energy (RF). The RF energy stimulates the production of collagen. The increased production of collagen will improve sagging and create smooth, soft, and firmer skin. The two types of energy work together to gently eliminate wrinkles, age spots, redness, and scarring.

What Is A Typical Treatment Like?
Because these treatments address a variety of cosmetic issues, appointments can take anywhere from 30 minutes to an hour. Your treatment will begin with the treatment area being cleansed.
A cooling gel is then applied in a thin layer over the area. The device will then be used to move over the skin and treat each area of concern. Patients typically need 3 to 5 treatments that will be spaced a month apart.
What Results Will I See?
Results will begin to appear immediately after your treatment and continue to improve with time as collagen production is stimulated. Patients will see firmer skin, a reduction in wrinkles, and a smoother complexion as spots, scars, and redness are treated. Your skin will have a more youthful appearance overall.
Is There Any Downtime?
With eLos Plus Skin Rejuvenation there is no downtime. Patients can generally resume their daily activities immediately after treatment. There will be some redness, and possibly swelling like that of a sunburn, for 2-5 days after each treatment session. Sun spots will initially become darker and then will start to flake off after a few days.
It will be important to avoid prolonged sun exposure for the first couple of days and to remember to wear sunscreen on a daily basis after that. This treatment is an excellent non-invasive way to treat the signs of aging.
