Carissa is a Licensed Advanced Practice Esthetician at Twin Ports Dermatology. As a Medical Esthetician, Carissa is results driven and passionate about her clients and their skin health. She prides herself on continued education and is always looking for new ways to further her knowledge. In her free time she keeps up with the newest technology, services and latest beauty trends. She obtained her Bachelors of Business degree from the University of Phoenix with a certification in Human Resources. She then studied esthetics at Cosmetology Careers Unlimited and the International Dermal Institution.
Before coming to Twin Ports Dermatology, Carissa started her career at Aveda as their Salon Ambassador.
In her spare time she loves spending time with her family, cooking and being outside.
Favorite Product: Advanced smoothing pads. Love the post-peel-like effect from these, great for in-between skin treatments. The TCA keeps my pores small. The azelaic acid is a great antimicrobial component and love the salicylic acid for blackheads. Great after a busy week!

Favorite Skincare Tip: Exfoliate your skin regularly to keep it fresh and glowing. Drink a lot of water and wear your sunscreen!
