While CoolSculpting® causes damage to the fat cells during treatment, it relies on your body to get rid of them. Your lymphatic system will filter the treated cells away from the area to be broken down by the body, so CoolSculpting® results take time to appear.
Body contouring with CoolSculpting® does not require any downtime, and you can return to all your usual activities after your 30 to 60-minute session. Your skin may look red and feel slightly swollen for up to a few days after treatment, and some people experience temporary numbing of the area, but these should not affect your daily routine.
