At Twin Port Dermatology, we use Platelet-Rich Plasma (PRP) in many treatments, including microneedling and hair loss. PRP preparation is a simple procedure. First, an expert at Twin Ports Dermatology draws a few teaspoons of blood from the arm. The blood will be placed in a centrifuge machine to separate the platelets, added to a growth-activating formula, and injected into the treatment site. Depending on any other procedure done with it, the entire appointment may take an hour or less.
