Wendy is one of our Advanced Practice Estheticians and Certified Laser Technicians at Twin Ports Dermatology. Wendy completed her schooling to be an Esthetician here in Duluth and received her education for laser in Dever, Colorado. However, Wendy originally went to college and studied music! She taught private violin lessons for a long time and played in symphonies. Wendy was ready for a change in her life and returned to school at fifty. She realized a need for estheticians in the Duluth area and fell in love with cosmetics. Wendy had a few jobs in the cosmetic world but only temporarily. After that, Wendy worked at Wax in the City, where a client worked at Twin Ports Dermatology. They told her that Twin Ports Dermatology was looking for an esthetician, and she got the job! Wendy has worked here at Twin Ports Dermatology for seven years and is passionate about what she does!

Wendy was initially studying Occupational Therapy, but she found dermatology and cosmetics intriguing when that fell through. She had a health education minor in college and was always passionate about health. Skin health was a new, hot topic. She wanted to be in the health field and completed her schooling to pursue what she loved.
