QWO® works by using enzymes that break down two of the types of collagen in our skin. Collagen fibers form an important part of our skin’s stabilizing structure. However, they can become attached to each other over time and form a fibrous network that allows the bulging, dimpling, and unevenness of cellulite.
As the fibrous bands of collagen break down, the attachments to the skin release and the skin will become smoother and less dimpled. When new collagen develops, it looks healthier and smoother, with none of the adhesions or uneven areas.
Treatments last approximately 30 minutes each, and require at least three treatments, each 21 days apart.
The injections feel like any other injection, and will be given into the areas they are most needed so they can loosen adhesions and allow skin to smooth out.
Most people can resume normal activity the same day as treatment. You can expect some soreness or bruising, but this should fade within a few days.

The best candidates for QWO® are women struggling with moderate to severe cellulite who wish to remove it or improve the appearance of their buttocks without surgery. QWO® has FDA approval for use on cellulite in the buttock area. You should let your provider know if you have a history of allergic reactions such as anaphylaxis.

You will start to see visible results within about ten weeks, with continued improvement over the following weeks as the collagen bands break down and new, smoother collagen begins to rebuild.
As adhesions release and the body redistributes fat, the bulging, unevenness, and lumpiness of cellulite gradually fade. Results should last at least one year, but for most people they will last for many years.
