What is Restylane®?

Some Restylane® fillers lift and smooth lines and wrinkles, while others enhance or restore lost volume in the cheeps, lips, or other parts of the face. Aging can cause the cheek area to lose fullness, causing it to look hollow. Twin Ports Dermatology proudly offers Restylane® Contour, a filler that targets the cheeks to restore natural-looking volume. All Restylane® formulas contain hyaluronic acid, a natural part of the skin that helps attract and bind moisture. Each formula uses different types of cross-linking to give them different properties.

How Long Does Restylane® Last?

Each type of Restylane® lasts for a different amount of time. In general, smoother and more flexible fillers like those for lips will break down sooner, while thicker formulas for the cheeks or deep lines will last longer. Overall, you can expect results to last between nine and eighteen months. Restylane® Contour

The recently introduced Restylane® Contour formula enhances the cheeks. It restores a fuller, more youthful appearance that looks natural and moves with your facial features. It also contains lidocaine to numb the area, so you feel each injection less than before. It lasts at least a year.

Restylane® Kysse

This lip filler has a soft formula that spreads and moves easily. It can keep up with the constant motion of the lip and mouth area, and it usually lasts six to nine months.

Restylane® Lyft

Restylane® Lyft adds volume to the mid-face area, including the deep lines and wrinkles. It also has FDA approval for use on the hands to plump the skin and make the hands look more youthful. It lasts about a year.
