MOHS
Mohs skin cancer surgery is a surgical procedure that’s designed to fully remove skin cancer lesions and any additional cancerous cells from a patient’s skin. Mohs surgery – which was pioneered by Dr. Frederic Mohs – carefully removes all cancerous cells to ensure that the patient is healthy and cancer-free.
SKIN CARE TREATMENT
Skin cancer excisions and ED&C (which stands for Electrodesiccation and Curettage) are types of minimally invasive surgery that removes skin cancer lesions from your body. These solutions are ideal for patients who have basal cell carcinoma and squamous cell carcinoma, as these cancers are limited in scope and can be removed via skilled excisions or ED&C.
ACNE
Acne may be a common condition (it’s estimated that about 80% of people between 11 and 30 suffer from breakouts), but that doesn’t make it easier to face the world when you experience a flare-up. Acne can be caused by a variety of factors, including genetics, lifestyle, diet, medications, hormones or excess bacteria on the skin’s surface.
RASHES
Skin rashes are unique in that they’re one of the few skin conditions that can have a wide range of reasons why they’re occurring. Causes of skin rashes can be as benign and common as irritation from heat and sweat, or a sign of something as serious as an autoimmune disease. Given the different causes of skin rashes, it’s important to have an experienced dermatology provider examine your rash and provide you with specialized treatment.

OUR MISSION
OUR STORY
Due to a shortage of Dermatologists in the Twin Ports, a patient in need of dermatology care must wait many months before being seen by a dermatology care provider. Heather and Anthony Smith are all-too familiar with this troubling statistic; after discovering a worrisome mole, Anthony’s mother was told it would take 9-12 months before she could be seen by a Dermatologist in Duluth. When Heather heard this, she decided to take action and screen it herself. The mole ended up being Melanoma, the most serious type of skin cancer.
